Spotube respects intellectual property. This page explains what the app does — and does not — host, and how to report alleged infringement. It should be read with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Overview #

Spotube is a player. It uses YouTube API Services and similar interfaces so you can search and play publicly available music and video. By using those features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Spotube does not host, upload, store, or redistribute third-party media files on its own servers. Content is requested when you search or tap play. Copyrights, trademarks, and neighboring rights in that material stay with their owners.

Third-Party Content #

Tracks, videos, podcasts, artwork, titles, lyrics sources, and channel names you see in the app come from third parties. We do not review, approve, or guarantee ownership, availability, or legality of that material.

You are responsible for using content in line with applicable law and the rights of the owners. Do not copy, record, or redistribute material from the app unless you have the right to do so.

Because the app reaches content through third-party platforms, a complaint may also need to be sent to that platform (for example, YouTube) if they host the file.

Copyright Notices #

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe something reachable through Spotube infringes your rights, email a notice to feedback.simpmusic@gmail.com.

Include enough detail for us to find and review the material:

• The copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
• A direct link, video or track ID, title, and the search terms that surface it in Spotube.
• Screenshots from the app if you have them.
• Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

False or misleading notices can create legal liability for the sender. Only send a notice if you are authorized to do so.

Our Response #

When a complete notice arrives, we review it and take appropriate steps within a reasonable time. That may include restricting or disabling access to the reported item in the app, adding identifiers to a block list, referring the complaint to the host platform, or taking other measures required for compliance.

Repeat Issues #

We may keep restricting identifiers or sources that generate repeated, valid complaints, to the extent the app can control access.

Trademarks #

YouTube, YouTube Music, Google Play, Android, Android Auto, and related marks belong to Google LLC. Spotify and related marks belong to Spotify AB. This Spotube Android app is published by MELOSTARA TECHNOLOGY LLC and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those parties.
